Dawn was born in Pittsburgh, PA. many moons ago. From an early age she was drawn to the ocean and diving by Jacques Cousteau documentaries and James Bond films. At college she studied art and eventually became a baker and cake decorator. Recruited to work at The Market Place in Bermuda in 2002 she elected to learn scuba diving as a hobby. Dawn’s diving instructor, Heidi Hess, recognized her natural abilities in the water and encouraged her to progress through the courses.
